    This beautiful guy is available at Poteau Valley Humane Society in Oklahoma. He is about 7 years old and was adopted from PVHS at a young age. Unfortunately his guardian and best friend recently passed away and he was returned to us. He is very resilient as he has adjusted well to shelter life and he would love another best friend to call his own. He is housebroken and would love to remain a house dog. Most Rat Terriers are very personable and he is no exception! Could just be the one for you!

    Rodney and his family were dumped in a rural Garber Cemetery late one Saturday night. Two of his pups had already been ran over and the coyotes were lurking and howling in the fields. Rodney is so appreciative to be safe, well fed, and loved. He is such a gentlemen and so well behaved! Rodney gets along with all dogs of all sizes! He is healthy, neutered, micro chipped, UTD on shots, heartworm checked, flee and tick prevention, and looking for a loving home.     Rat Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Rat Terrier is a small breed of hunting dog also sometimes known as a Feist. Rat Terriers are vivacious, playful, and bold. This breed is great with children. Adult Rat Terriers adapt well to adoption. Rat Terriers are very smart and trainable. This breed can live in an apartment but needs plenty of vigorous exercise each day. Rat Terriers enjoy romping in a fenced yard, but because they are enthusiastic diggers, fences should be buried or reinforced around the base.
