Not hyper crazy, he would just as soon snuggle with his person. Gets along very well with the dogs here but is very shy with strangers.

    Stefin is approximately 3 years old. He was an owner surrender, along with 6 other dogs to the dog pound. He is a big growly when he first meets new dogs, but then settles in and gets a long fine with them. He currently weighs 13 pounds. He is heartworm negative and has been started on heartworm medicine and flea prevention. He will be neutered on March 11 and ready for adoption soon after that. Rat Terriers are vivacious, playful, and bold. This breed is great with children. Adult Rat Terriers adapt well to adoption. Rat Terriers are very smart and trainable. This breed can live in an apartment but needs plenty of vigorous exercise each day. Rat Terriers enjoy romping in a fenced yard, but because they are enthusiastic diggers, fences should be buried or reinforced around the base.
