|Rescue Me ID: 15-03-03-00556Hershey (female)|
Hershey and her 2 sisters wandered into our yard a few months ago starved and with the mange. We have nursed them back to health and now need to find forever homes for them. She will be spayed and up to date on shots March17. I'm asking half the cost of having that done which is $60. Hershey is having to sleep outside and would love to curl up on a nice warm couch with a loving family.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-10-03-00496Jack (male)|
Jack is a sweet boy. He weighs about 13 pounds We rescued him in CA about a year ago. He lived with our 3 other dogs with no problem. Recently we moved to Missouri and all was fine until 3 weeks ago. For some reason he does not like our other neutered male rat terrier and will fight with him. We never know when it will happen. It may be a dominance issue since the older alpha dog could not make the trip to Missouri with us. Jack does not fight with the spayed female rat terrier- just the male. He is fine with people and children. He loves attention. In fact, he craves him. He loves to be picked up and cuddled. He loves to play ball and will play retrieve all day long. At this point I think he would fit perfectly in a one dog home. It breaks our heart to let him go but it is in his best interest if we rehome him. (Less)

Rat Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Rat Terrier is a small breed of hunting dog also sometimes known as a Feist. Rat Terriers are vivacious, playful, and bold. This breed is great with children. Adult Rat Terriers adapt well to adoption. Rat Terriers are very smart and trainable. This breed can live in an apartment but needs plenty of vigorous exercise each day. Rat Terriers enjoy romping in a fenced yard, but because they are enthusiastic diggers, fences should be buried or reinforced around the base.
