Rat Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Jack is a sweet boy. He weighs about 13 pounds We rescued him in CA about a year ago. He lived with our 3 other dogs with no problem. Recently we moved to Missouri and all was fine until 3 weeks ago. For some reason he does not like our other neutered male rat terrier and will fight with him. We never know when it will happen. It may be a dominance issue since the older alpha dog could not make the trip to Missouri with us. Jack does not fight with the spayed female rat terrier- just the male. He is fine with people and children. He loves attention. In fact, he craves him. He loves to be picked up and cuddled. He loves to play ball and will ... (Read More)play retrieve all day long. At this point I think he would fit perfectly in a one dog home. It breaks our heart to let him go but it is in his best interest if we rehome him. (Less)
