Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! I'm Wicket! I'm a six month old puppy that was saved from Downey animal shelter. I love people and other dogs and cats, just everyone. I'm a confident puppy, very playful and active. I will provide hours of entertainment with my little play moves and when I pounce on my toys. I am potty and crate trained. I am a very smart little puppy and look forward to learning lots more than my basic training. I'm looking for a loving family, will that be you?

Rat Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Who doesn't need a reason now and then to get up off that couch and move? Maci will be happy to provide you with that motivation! Almost 1 year old and bursting with love and energy, Maci can't help but get you involved as she digs through her toy basket or eagerly waits for you to snap on her leash for a nice, brisk walk. She brings that same enthusiasm to mealtimes and playtime with her canine foster siblings. Currently 13 lbs. and likely to fill out to her perfect weight of 14 lbs., Maci is all puppy and her nonstop energy can sometimes be too much for her fellow dog friends, but she can be coaxed to settle down with a chew toy. Soon she ... (Read More)will have 'crashed' on her bed or the couch for an afternoon nap. In the evenings, she likes to pick one of the humans in the home and snuggle up with them for a few hours. Maci has proven to be a very fast learner. She is potty trained and knows how to use a dog door, how to sit and stay, and now NOT to beg from the table. Because she's young, she loves to kiss and mouth your hands, as well as her canine foster siblings, but when the affection is not wanted, she will stop immediately if you tell her no. Maci is trained to sleep quietly in her crate all night, and after a quick potty break, she relishes an hour or two more to snooze under the covers with her foster mom and dad. Maci gets along with the elementary-school-age grandchildren when they visit and the three Ratties in her foster home, and she ignores other dogs while on a walk. She doesn't like strangers in her backyard (that's a plus!), but she'll accept anyone--inside and out--after a proper introduction. Maci's an adorable, lovable sweetheart, who would make a great addition to a family looking for a loving canine companion for themselves or a playmate for another pet! Check out more photos of her at Who doesn't need a reason now and then to get up off that couch and move? Maci will be happy to provide you with that motivation! Animal ID: 273Minnie (female)

Rat Terrier    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Look at beautiful Minnie. Isn't that face full of love and hope? Frankly we'd understand if Minnie didn't look so optimistic because after seven years with her adoptive family, she is back with New Rattitude through no fault of her own. But this 19-lb. Rat Terrier trusts that another kind-hearted person or family is out there, just waiting for a sweet, laid-back 12-year-old like her. While Minnie is happiest when snuggling on your lap, she has plenty of spring to her step and enjoys her daily outdoor time, happily joining the younger dogs in her foster home as they explore their surroundings. Minnie gets along well with dogs, cats, and ... (Read More)children, and she would be fine as an only dog or as an addition to your existing pack. She is a perfect house guest, fully house trained, and not a barker. Minnie has epilepsy, which is well controlled with her medicine. She is an excellent 'patient,' who takes her meds without protest. Minnie is happy whether in a crate or left loose in the house at night or when her foster family goes out. She is also great on car rides. Does your heart have room for this mellow, sweet girl with a resilient spirit? Minnie's smile says she thinks you do! See more of Minnie in her online album at: http://ImageEvent.com/newrattitude/minnie . ======================================================================================== If you are interested in adopting Minnie, please go to New Rattitude's website at http://www.NewRattitude.org/adopt.htm, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application. Looking for her a good home with someone that can give her love, attention and take care of her. She is 10 years old and she is great with babies, kids and people. She doesn't bite and never has. She is a chihuahua so she is a great guard dog and she barks to let you know when somebody is there. She is the ideal lap dog. Please contact me if interested. I want to find her a good home...     Karlie has been a loving member of our family for 8 years. She was my daughter's baby, until my daughter and her husband had a human baby boy last June. Karlie tolerated him well as an infant, but now that he is a crawling, active toddler, she DOES NOT like him one bit. She nips and growls at him constantly, and we are afraid that one of them might hurt the other. :(

This little character is Fin, a 4 year old Australian Cattledog mix. At 22 pounds, he is a small guy with mass amounts of personality! Fin has learned a lot of house manners. He is house and crate trained. He knows sit and 'to your bed' when it's time for the crate. He is wonderful in the car and on leash. He learns so fast that he may have learned something new by the time you are reading this. He also LOVES his blankeys! He loves to bury himself in his blankets and pillows. He's also a goof - very wiggly and snuggly and affectionate once he gets to know you. Fin enjoys casual hikes or long strolls through the neighborhood. Once he gets to ... (Read More)know his person, he is even good off leash on a hike. Fin is a big guy in a small package. He needs a home where his people aren't pushovers. If he gets an inch, he will take a mile. Therefore, he is looking for a home that understands that some dogs feel best when they have a lot of structure. He also is looking for a home where he is a buddy rather than a teddy bear. He will do best hanging out with his person but not being cuddled and coddled. A home without kids is required. He lives with other animals and gets along well. Just like with people, he does best when his animal friends aren't pushovers. In order to help Fin be the best he can be, he has been enrolled in professional training where his obedience skills have been refined. He has received additional socialization with dogs and people, too. He will always be a one or two person kind of dog rather than the super social, love everyone kind of guy. If you want devoted, he is definitely that. HIs foster mom says that he has a way of becoming a part of your heart, so even with his need for structure, he is well worth it. He will come with a few sessions of training with his new person and current trainer so that his transition to a new home is smooth and effective. The training is included in his adoption fee. Fin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to meet potential adopters in Southern CA. Out of area adopters will be happily referred to local rescues. Fin is a SoCal kind of guy and loves the weather here. A home visit and vet reference are required. (Less)
