Hi Everyone, My name is Mac, and I'm a little guy with a huge heart. I am only about 24 pounds, so you can take me most places, and although I'm a senior, I'm very young at heart. I am able to go on long, brisk walks, but I also love relaxing on the couch. I love couch cushions--they are soo soft and luxurious. I am complety house trained and almost never bark. If someone is knocking at the door, I will let you know. I love all people and kids and have so much love to give to a great family. For my entire life, I've been loved and have given love.     Meet Spottie everyone! He was found yesterday in El Monte, CA and a good samaritan brought him in today to check if he was chipped.     MEET ELFY -- AVAILABLE! -- SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY --- Elfy Philidelphy :) She's even cuter in the fur, and those ears!!! GAH! This little puppy found herself incarcerated at a local shelter a couple months ago and she was terrified to say the least. She was placed in a back kennel because staff was not able to handle her, and she remained there for a week with no visitors or volunteers to work with her. Fortunately we saw here there one day and knew we had to help, and a furbulous foster home stepped up to teach this little gal that humans aren't all that bad. She's come around nicely and is now ready to meet her forever family! Our loving ... (Read More)terripoo (terrier x poodle) is about a year old. Her foster parents say she's very well behaved, smart as a whip and extremely responsive to training. She's also a fan of food which helps! Elfy gets along harmoniously with other dogs but seems to prefer pals somewhat closer to her size. We definitely want her to have a confident, balanced doggie playmate and cuddle buddy in her future home who will be her guide as she matures. (Canine companion required.) She's playful and energetic as a terrier puppy should be and will bark with pure joy when romping around with friends or seeing her beloved humans return. Elfy is attentive to her human guardians and although shy with new people, she warms up quickly in her home setting. She's looking for dog savvy parents who understand dog body language. She needs folks who will help her gain confidence and trust as she grows but will let her go at her own pace and not rush her. She has excellent leash and car manners and loves her crate when it's chill time :) She also LOVES to snuggle with her people and hopes her family will want to snuggle with her too. Elfy's a really affectionate little girlie with a sweet disposition. Doesn't she sound like a catch? Well she is! The Elf is looking for a home environment with older respectful children 15+ if any. She also wants a house with a backyard for zoomies :) If you're an experienced dog family with room for a lap warmer this cold and wet winter, reach out to us today and let's get Elfy home for the holidays! --- To view more photos and pupdates of Elfy, please visit her on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1045265588831275.1073741952.294289027262272&type=3 (Less)

Animal ID: 1676Charley (male)

Rat Terrier    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

What a great little guy is Charley! He had his world turned upside down when he lost his lifelong person to illness. But Charley is adaptable and believes that there isn't anything a good game of chase can't fix, and he is filled with hope that there is another person with a warm heart and lap looking for an awesome boy like him. Charley is 9, but you would never know it from the way this boy runs and plays. He's lean and athletic at 16 lbs. He loves riding in the car, going for short walks, playing ball, giving kisses and keeping your lap warm. Bright and engaging, he loves his people to participate with him in games--tossing a ball, ... (Read More)playing chase, or whatever. After the initial duty of barking at newcomers, Charley greets all guests to his foster home with a ball and seems to especially connect with men. He gets along well with his furry foster siblings, but Charley is more concerned with human interaction so would do just as well in a home with or without furry siblings. Charley can play a little rough and get nervous around young children, so a home without little kids would be best. (He hasn't been tested with cats.) Charley was never crate trained and doesn't like to be kept apart from his people, so he would be happiest not being left alone for long hours. He's well behaved on his own and mostly house trained but needs encouragement to go outside in bad weather. He has chosen the sofa as his nighttime sleeping spot but likes to join his foster parents in bed in the early morning. Charley is a gem of a dog that you'll be happy to have in your home. He's smart, cute, a very good communicator and able to make you laugh every day. Don't you want to be the one to turn his hope into reality? You can see more pictures of this handsome boy at http://imageevent.com/newrattitude/charley . ========================================================================================If you are interested in adopting Charley, please go to New Rattitude's website at http://www.NewRattitude.org/adopt.htm, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.     This little character is Fin, a 4 year old Australian Cattledog mix. At 22 pounds, he is a small guy with mass amounts of personality! Fin is a quirky, fun guy. He LOVES his blankeys! He loves to bury himself in his blankets and pillows. He's also a goof - very wiggly and snuggly and affectionate once he gets to know you. Fin has learned a lot of house manners. He is house and crate trained. He knows sit and 'on to your bed' when it's time for the crate. He is wonderful in the car and on leash. He learns so fast that he may have learned something new by the time you are reading this. Fin likes to pause a moment before making friends. He is ... (Read More)shy but quickly bonds to his person. Whoever his new person is, they are getting a silly, handsome boy who deeply bonds to his person. With continued positive experiences with people, he will warm up more quickly. Fin is looking for a quiet home with someone who likes taking walks and cuddling on the couch. He enjoys short, casual hikes. He appreciates someone who knows that he likes a bit of space as he continues to open up to new people and experiences. He would also appreciate a home where he isn't left all day waiting for his people. In return, he shares his great smile and infectious silliness. Fin isn't a big fan of sharing. As such, a home without kids or other animals is required. He can guard his food, toys, and crate when he first gets to know someone, so it is important that his new person take it slow and work with him. His foster mom says he is definitely worth it. She says that it can be managed with the right person. Fin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to meet potential adopters in Southern CA. Out of area adopters will be happily referred to local rescues. Fin is a SoCal kind of guy and loves the weather here. A home visit and vet reference are required. (Less)
