Rescue Me ID: 15-02-21-00033Chloe & Buzz (female)

Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Chloe and Buzz were left behind when their family moved away, despite telling neighbors they would be back for them. They were saved from being run over in a busy highway near their former home, taken to a local clinic & given rabies vaccinations. Buzz was already neutered & ages are the vet's estimate. Not clear if Chloe is spayed or not. They were well behaved at the clinic & walked well on the leash. Chloe is not trustful of strangers (good watchdog quality), but a treat will win her over. Buzz is everyone's friend. Due to being abandoned together, they will only be adopted together & adopter must agree to keeping them together for life. ... (Read More)A home check & adoption contract are required. They will go only to a home with only older children or a couple. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-19-00403Gogo, Jr. (male)

Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Gogo, Jr. Why the name? Well, there's an old dog named Gogo who is kind of porky. He also has similar markings so when we saw this little chunk enter the world with that single black spot at the base of his tail and an appetite to shame all others, we knew that Gogo, Jr. had arrived. GGJ was his mom's favorite. She fed and played with him the most. Gogo is a calm, well-adjusted pup--but he is on the shy side in public (needs more exposure), will hog the food bowl, and will protect a treat. He is solid: 42 lbs at 9 mos old. He's probably going to be a medium to large sized dog. Now, I know it may be a stretch, but I'm almost ... (Read More)thinking that I may see some Rottie goin' on, but no worries! This baby is a sweetie. Gogo, Jr.'s siblings are Stevie Ray and Sugar Ray. To apply for one of these pups, please submit an application via Out of the Woods Rescue: http://www.ootwrescue.org/adoptionprocessid47.html Adoption fee of $150 will help offset vet costs. Transport can be arranged for an additional $175. Contact tendogtattoo@yahoo.com with questions. (Less)
