Animal ID: 1470Bear (male)

Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Snuggly little Bear is a 6-year-old, 14-lb. Rat Terrier mix with beautiful, unusual black-ticked coloring. This super affectionate boy will follow you everywhere, likes to have his ears massaged, and sleep next to you under the covers at night. He is the perfect little heating pad! He likes to bring his favorite toy to bed with him too. Bear also loves to play catch with his 'draggy' toy and will bring it to you over and over, picking it up and moving it close to your hand if you can't reach it. Afterwards he's ready to pile up with you and some pillows on the couch for an evening of TV. He is house trained and will pace by the door when he ... (Read More)needs to go out. If you say 'potty?' he will run back and forth from you to the door. He walks well on a leash, and he really loves riding in the car! Bear is shy, but he eventually warms up to most women. He is afraid of babies and young children, however, and very, very afraid of men. He will bark, growl, and sometimes snap out of fear when he feels threatened. For this reason, Bear would do best in a small family with older children, and any men in the family will need to understand that earning Bear's trust will take extra time and patience. Bear gets along with other dogs that he is familiar with but may bark at newcomers until he gets to know them. Love, patience and understanding is all this adorable little guy needs to help him become a self-confident and happy member of your family. He'll give you back all that and more!===================================================================================If you are interested in adopting Bear, please go to New Rattitude's website at, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.     3 month old puppy. He is a pitt-terrier mix and he is the sweetest dog ever. He gets along with kids, cats and other dogs. He is crate trained and is in the process of potty training, he knows when I say 'potty' to go stand at the back door. He is also getting better at the 'sit' command. He sleeps through the night and doesn't bark. He will come with a large crate, a food and water bowl, a collar, his chew toy and whatever treats I have left for him. Two random things about him, he loves playing in the water outside and he also loves car rides, I take him every where and he just sits on the passenger side seat.

He was a stray found and is most likely around 1 yr old and male. He is a Rat terrier and chi mix. He gets along now with other dogs and is comfortable with them but may growl upon occasion. We were thinking a single dog house but the lead dog bopped him on the head once and he has been a play baby and getting along with everyone. He would make a great companion. He is a lap baby but no kids, they scare him. He loves to play. He walks on leash. He is potty trained and he is doggy door trained. He is Neutered. He is up to date on shots and microchipped. He would love to find his forever home and be loved. Pam is the contact. Please call her ... (Read More)or text her for information or a meet up. (Less)
