Animal ID: 1748Levi (male)

Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Spunky, cheerful Levi is a Rat Terrier mix, who is friendly to all he meets. Levi was heartworm positive when he was found as a stray, but he has completed his heartworm treatment and is doing great! Now this adorable 18-lb. 1-year-old can't wait to find a family to call his own. A very mellow fellow with both children and adults, Levi is a people pleaser with gorgeous soulful eyes that will gaze at you as if to say, 'I love you. Do you love me?' He gets along with his canine foster sister and doesn't seem to mind at all letting her be the boss. In addition to roughhousing with his foster sis, Levi also enjoys soaking up the sunshine in his ... (Read More)fenced backyard, playing with his many toys, chewing on chew bones, taking walks, and hanging out with Foster Mom on the couch or bed. He truly loves to snuggle and be close to his humans, and he seldom lets his foster mom out of his sight. Levi is also proving himself to be one smart cookie. He's house trained and crate trained and uses a crate to travel with no problem. He also walks nicely on a leash, comes when you call his name, and takes a bath with little fuss. So far, he's not very 'talkative,' although his foster sister is trying hard to teach him the joy of barking. Doesn't he sound like a great pup? With his gentle spirit and sweet disposition, Levi will make a fantastic family pet! You can see more pictures of Levi in his online album at . ========================================================================================If you are interested in adopting Levi, please go to New Rattitude's website at, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application. Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Dottie Dog is a 3 year old rat terrier mix. She came to us heavily pregnant and now that babies are old enough to have homes, she is ready for one of her own. She is HW-, house trained (she uses a doggie door at her foster home), loves other dogs and cats. She isn't sure about small children or being on a leash, so a home with kids 10 and older would be best for her. Oh yeah and someone to teach her leash manners, her foster human sister is trying but so far she has only taught her 'shake' really well.

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ozzie is searching for a forever home. This little guy is so easy to get along with, and is going to fit in great when he finds a new home! Ozzie has a loving, loyal, energetic personality and wants to be friends with everyone he meets. His friendly yet gentle nature says he would do well with a family where he can get lots of love and chances to play. One of our favorite things about little Ozzie is his adorable looks. This little guy has a sweet face and the funniest long legs for such a little guy, add in the cute flop ears to the picture and this is one adorable little fella. zzie is especially loyal to his people. He LOVES his ... (Read More)humans. He will follow you around the house longing for your attention. He's happy to hang around and watch television, sit in your lap and be petted. Anything you do, Ozzie is willing to be there with you. To prepare for his adoption, he's been neutered and given all of his age appropriate vaccinations. Ozzie is also Micro-chipped and is negative for heartworms. Ozzie is house and create trained. He enjoys going for walks and loves to play with stuffed toys. We do our best to place our foster pups in the right type of environment to suit their individual needs. With this goal in mind, Ozzie's new home will need to be with people who are committed to playing and exercising him every day. Ozzie would be very unhappy left alone in an apartment so we will be looking to find him a home with a yard and space for those long legs to romp in. Ozzie gets along great with other dogs and being extremely social, would be well suited to a home with a doggy friend to keep him company. **** A current vet reference is required. Friends of Cats and Dogs preforms a home visit with the prospective animal so out of state /area adoptions are not possible. **** (Less)
