Rat Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Spunky, cheerful Levi is a Rat Terrier mix, who is friendly to all he meets. Levi was heartworm positive when he was found as a stray, but he has completed his heartworm treatment and is doing great! Now this adorable 18-lb. 1-year-old can't wait to find a family to call his own. A very mellow fellow with both children and adults, Levi is a people pleaser with gorgeous soulful eyes that will gaze at you as if to say, 'I love you. Do you love me?' He gets along with his canine foster sister and doesn't seem to mind at all letting her be the boss. In addition to roughhousing with his foster sis, Levi also enjoys soaking up the sunshine in his ... (Read More)fenced backyard, playing with his many toys, chewing on chew bones, taking walks, and hanging out with Foster Mom on the couch or bed. He truly loves to snuggle and be close to his humans, and he seldom lets his foster mom out of his sight. Levi is also proving himself to be one smart cookie. He's house trained and crate trained and uses a crate to travel with no problem. He also walks nicely on a leash, comes when you call his name, and takes a bath with little fuss. So far, he's not very 'talkative,' although his foster sister is trying hard to teach him the joy of barking. Doesn't he sound like a great pup? With his gentle spirit and sweet disposition, Levi will make a fantastic family pet! You can see more pictures of Levi in his online album at http://imageevent.com/newrattitude/levi . ========================================================================================If you are interested in adopting Levi, please go to New Rattitude's website at http://www.NewRattitude.org/adopt.htm, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.
